there
will
be
a
proxy
bidding
system
available
on
Thursday
5
June.
Here’s
how
this
will
work:
You
give
us
the
maximum
amount
you
are
willing
to
pay
for
a
particular
item.
Your
maximum
amount
is
kept
confidential
from
other
bidders.
During
the
Live
Auction,
a
proxy
bidder
will
bid
anonymously
on
your
behalf,
at
£50
increments,
using
only
as
much
of
your
bid
as
is
necessary
to
maintain
your
high
bid
position.
The
proxy
bidder
will
bid
up
to
your
maximum
amount.
Here
is
an
example.
If
you
place
a
maximum
bid
of
£2,000,
and
at
the
Live
Auction
the
item
reaches
£1,150,
your
proxy
bidder
will
bid
£1,200
on
your
behalf.
If
someone
else
then
offers
£1,350,
the
anonymous
bidder
will
bid
£1,400
on
your
behalf.
If
no
other
live
bids
are
received,
the
lot
will
be
sold
to
you
for
£1,400.
If
another
online
user
has
placed
a
maximum
proxy
bid
of
£1,500,
the
lot
will
be
sold
to
you
for
£1,550.
All
proxy
bids
must
be
received
by
email
at
micki@aaschool.ac.uk
by
17:00
on
Thursday
5
June.
Your
proxy
bid
will
only
be
accepted
if
you
have
registered
on
the
Auction
website,
and
if
we
have
been
able
to
authenticate
your
credit
card
details.
